Level 2: Expert course for turning

  • Discuss and analyse part drawings
  • Define suitable tool design
  • Program part in NC-FOX
  • Prepare bar feeder, guide bush, etc. and set up for the part
  • Install tool in the machine, measure the coordinates and enter into the control system
  • Read in the CNC program and run on the star* authomatic lathe
  • Set up turned part and correct
  • Measure turned part and produce 25 to 50 parts (if time is available)
  • Carry out MFU (if time is available)
